Learning to Drive

It was good to get back to teaching a learner today. Only my third learner this year the other two passed first time. May have something to do with my price 35-40 pounds an hour.
A challenging learner 46 years old had five instructors 20 years ago and failed 3 tests suffering from anxiety and stress through looking after an ageing relative plus trying to give up smoking a great combination.
It is though one of the most rewarding jobs when you have a great training session used Cognitive behavioural coaching and the ABCDE model worked a treat. She ends up taking a picture of me and the car at the end of the lesson to show to all her friends.
